The Towar Room is our largest room (19 x 19 plus 3 x 7 closet) with a view of the sunrise. It has a large private bathroom with 2 pedestal sinks and a double shower. In the bedroom there is a claw foot tub with a champagne air bubbler (a "hot springs" experience in your very own room - jacuzzi), a romantic fireplace and air conditioner. You'll sleep in a french provincial queen sized canopy antique white and gold post bed. Simply gorgeous!
It has been said that King Louis Philippe stayed in this room in the early 1800's, when he was exiled from France and came to the USA. The 2nd largest room is the Ennis Room (14 x 18 plus 3 x 7 closet) and it also boasts a claw foot tub with champagne air bubbler (a "hot springs" experience in your very own room - jacuzzi), a romantic fireplace and air conditioner. A large private bath with a pedestal sink and double shower.
From the windows you can view the "Canandaigua Outlet", which flows from Canandaigua Lake, one of New York's famous Finger Lakes, into the Erie Canal. Gansz Room - Under Renovations ...
The 3rd room is the Gansz Room which was the servant’s quarters back in the 1800's … quaint and unique all rolled into one. Everyone who sees this room, just loves it! Private stairway to the kitchen and main house or bow your head to go through a tiny door, as they would have in the 1800’s, to get to the master's living quarters. Slanted ceilings in the bedroom have a 6’3” main clearance and four beautiful small windows with wrought iron inserts. It’s right out of the 18th century and to add even more charm, there is a small window seat on the landing where you can quietly sit and read.
This suite hosts a double bed, dresser, futon, blanket chest, desk, night stand, private bathroom with shower, pedestal sink and air conditioner. TV/DVD with HBO and there is also internet access. Would you like to know how we named our Rooms? ... Toganenwood is an acronym for the 3 previous owners of the Estate. Our three rooms are named after those three owners: Towar, Ennis and Gansz.. We named the largest room after the Towar family who were the original owners who built the Estate in 1832. They settled Alloway, the small town where the Estate is located. The second largest room was named after the Ennis family. Four generations resided at the Estate for over a century. The third room was named after the Gansz family, who previously owned the Estate for 20 years. There is a beautiful covered bridge near the water that was built in 1997, which also carries their name.

Cancellations must be within 10 days or a charge for one night will apply, unless the room is re-rented, then there would be no charge!
We are smoke free facility! No smoking in or around the house.
Check-in after 3pm and check -out by 11am (ask about earlier check in times. If room was not booked for previous night, we may be able to accommodate earlier check ins.) Check out time is firm as we need time to clean rooms for next guest arrivals. Thank you!
